Dear customers and business partners

with the following information we would like to explain to you why we collect personal data from our customers and business partners and how we handle this data. This leaflet also serves to inform you of your rights as a data subject.
As you may already know, we have received most of this information from you. If you have

What categories of personal data do we process?
We collect the name, address and contact details of our contact persons as well as their company affiliation
company affiliation and their position in the company. Depending on the contractual relationship, we process
also process information about the contact person’s area of responsibility or appointments.
The contacts to our customers are recorded in our CRM system.

How long is this data stored?
Data of our customers and contact persons are stored as long as a business relationship exists
or they express an interest in our products. There are legal retention periods of 6 or 10 years for
data relating to contractual agreements or invoicing.

 

For what purpose is this data processed?
We process the data for the purpose of answering your enquiries, preparing quotations, performing the contractually agreed services and billing.


On what legal basis do we process your data?
We collect and store customer data only on the basis of contractual or pre-contractual relationships ( Art.6 lit.b DSGVO).

Who receives the data?
Customer data collected for our internal purposes is not passed on to third parties.

Is there an obligation to provide the data?
If you do not enter into a contractual relationship with us, there is no obligation for you to provide us with the data.

Is there any automated decision making or profiling?
We do not link your personal data to automated decision-making that could have legal effects or similarly significantly affect you (Art. 22 DSGVO).

 


Your rights as a data subject
According to Chapter III of the Regulation, you have the right of access to the data stored about you, the right to have inaccurate data corrected, the right to have your data erased or to have processing restricted, the right to object to processing, the right to data portability and the right to withdraw consent you have given.
You have the right to complain to the Lower Saxony Data Protection Authority or any other data protection authority in Germany if you believe that our company is handling your data incorrectly or unlawfully.
